I heard about this place from my sister, so I had to check it out! The food was excellent and the service was great! Definitely will be coming back.
Very interesting concept here. I've never seen anything quite like this place. Then again, I'm not really a gamer but was happy to join my group of friends for a rainy afternoon activity. The space is really open with lots of screens and consoles spread nicely apart. Good variety of games including dance revolution and VR. My group was keen on super smash and had to wait a good amount of time as it was obviously popular but we happily kept busy with various games while waiting. For the prices, you'd be hard pressed to find a better game spot. They sell a $7 hour pass which grants all access and even better is the $15 day pass. They are open extremely late (until 1am I think) so if you are looking to kill serious time, $15 won't break the bank. The on-site cafe is a nice add on. I didn't indulge but nice to have snack options available. If you ware looking for a heartier meal, there are plenty of choices located within walking distance. If you buy a day pass, you can basically come and go. All in all, the place is clean and draws a nice crowd. Everyone was polite and respectful and even better was the kind owner. Small owned business for the win!
Being an avid gamer myself, I thought I'd check out this place myself and was pleasantly surprised. The café was bustling, but it never felt overcrowded, even when a super smash tourney was happening. Being only $7 for an hour or $15 all day, it was such a deal given how many offerings there were. They had xboxes, ps5s, some traditional arcade machines, plenty of gaming pcs, smash set-ups, DDR machine, 2 VR's, driving sim for forza, and best of all a VR set up with a omni-treadmil and haptic vest. I just wish it was a bit more sanitary with the VR, since there was no cleaning in between people using the headset (that I saw)
Back in the day, I spent many hours at Internet cafes playing CounterStrike. While in Orlando, looking for an arcade to kill a few hours, we happened upon Ready, Game, Begin. Which is a modern take on the traditional internet cafe. In addition to offering usage of computers containing high end video cards for gaming, they also have VR stations, a driving simulator, as well as the latest PS5. Ambience: most of the money went to the equipment and games. You will not be seeing much Disney aesthetics here. There is a little Japanese maid cafe in the back for light snacks. Food: in keeping with the maid cafe, they offer some Japanese themed cute appetiizers. Moe Moe Parfait - Vanilla Ice Cream, yogurt and marshmallows dressed up like a bunny 5/5 Bunny Spring Rolls - two fried spring rolls and some rice made to look like a bunny's face. It's cute, but but the spring rolls are meh. (3/5) Rabbit, Bear, & Gyoza - fried dumplings and rice made to look like rabbits and Bear. Cute but taste like air fryer heated frozen gyozas. (3/5) Value: $7/hr or $15 for the entire day...this is a steal considering that you can play on the latest Plasystations, xboxes, high end PCs, etc. Service: the employees are dressed up as maids and seem to really get into character. They are super friendly and helpful.
Use to be a good spot but crammed in hope it opens back up in a bigger location with better parking with the same name with a better theme
